if not only because it makes a quick shortcut for SMS messaging messages to Twitter and Facebook together. Terrible icon tho.

I would say this is a pretty good app
Just what I was looking for to compose emails and take notes. Simple and easy.
Minimalist style interface, very simple handy program. Needs to be able to save the documents you create though in the app itself though. -1 star
Thought that would be different than the note pad.....disappointing. You cant create a new doc when you are working on one.
this is the most useful application I would expect. bravo. excellent job. everyone should have one. thnx for this application. note: there is one inconvinience. the button [Clear All] should have red color in order to avoid mistake. best regards.
I thought i would use this as a whiteboard. It works fine, but i wish text could be enlarged more, or better still if font size could be preset. Bold and highlight options would be a treat.
Lots of handling options available through tab. Five different font sizes available, i.e. plenty!
This is one of the best app Ive ever seen. Suggestion: get better background color... (like one note?)
Awesome App !!! I wanted to paste as plain text just yesterday and this works perfectly. I wish it had add a page feature, but otherwise, perfect!
Zen simple, yet tiger powerful. Editable action assist library? Wow. Did I mention it syncs over iCloud? Now we just need AES-256 hardware accelerated encryption and an app for Mac/PC.
This is a really nice app for a quick note. Its not for archiving information or even working with text. Its just a quick way to add notes to a virtual piece of paper; however, the magic comes from the assist library. Its even possible to create custom assists.
I find this app very confusing and i would not recommend this app personally
I use the app to do my school assignments, it is very nice to be able to use an iPad instead of a computer. Its also very easy to use!
DraftPad for iPad is the ultimate text utility for the iOS. It can process text in a variety of ways and then send it to dozens of apps. Do search and replace on a block of text. Create an email template. Shorten URLs in a block of text and send it to Google Docs. If you regularly work with text, youll find all kind of uses for this app. Over 100 pre-made assists. + Markdown and TextExpander compatible + Useful at a scratch pad + Write your own assists + Tap the title bar for counts - History a little quirky and not always dependable for keeping copies
This is a great app. You can send it to email and print it if you have the printer app.
At first it was amazing but then u can only make 1 story
I like that you can write as much as you want because some games dont give you the room. But the problem is how in the world do you make another story?: (
Im a great fan of low overhead, "get out of your way" word-processors and note-takers. I even used VoodooPad for Mac to author a 348 page book and a shorter work (220 pages) on the grandparent of zero footprint, "MyTexts" from Germanys MoApp Foundry. That said, small, nimble, and transparent programs like these do not usually take "getting out of the writers way" to mean leaving the premises altogether. Regrettably, thats precisely what the developer of DraftPad seems to have done. Even the most routine of writing tasks require the user to exit the writing page, then to peruse a long menu of sometimes arcanely named functions (to give the developer credit, it is possible to re-name these functions). It really feels so odd- a bit like two code warriors staying up till the wee hours in one of those punch-drunk caffeine fuelled discussions about how to make a "completely different" writing tool. One woke up the next morning and forgot all about it. The other, regrettably, remained enamoured with the idea, hoping to make big bucks on the App Store. Like many a caffeine dream (can you tell Ive had a few?), this program makes up in bull-headed clumsiness for what it lacks in simplicity and elegance. Sorry, its just clunky. A suggestion to the developer - how about putting all those options on a configureable heads-up display, invoked by a simple hot key? Im giving DraftPad 2 stars only because I reserve 1star status to programs that solicit in-app purchases. 2 thumbs down, and erased form my iPad.
I love the app! I have it on my iPhone and use it to write parts of chapters on the go when I dont have my laptop with me. Since the app always saves your work like every minute, you have more than one folder to work with when youre ready to make a new story. I always use the ones that dont have the days date on it. Like, for example, if I wrote a story both yesterday and today and wanted to create a new one, Id use the older one. Its simple, really.
